In 1992, the UNDERWRITERS LABORATORIES, INC approved the company’s application.
It was during this time that building construction boomed and the demands for the seamless, full flush and high grade fire rated doors and frames went high, thus prompting the company to acquire two (2) sets of mig-welding machines and one (1) set of tig-welding machines which were fully automatic to meet the demands of time.
That was the start of LEC STEEL as the leader and pioneer in the field of ARCHITECTURAL METAL PRODUCT MANUFACTURING, with its products very well accepted by the majority of the buying public, be it a commercial establishment, a high rise residential or office condominium, an airport, food processing and bottling company, manufacturing company, hotel, mass transportation, broadcasting and communications industry, etc.
In 1995, a transformation was seen to be crucial; hence, LEC STEEL was reorganized to become LEC STEEL MANUFACTURING CORPORATION.
In 1999, LEC STEEL MFG. CORP. was admitted member of the “DOOR AND HARDWARE INSTITUTE” (DHI) and by the “INTERNATIONAL DOOR INSTITUTE” (IDA) in 2002.
With easy access to these international organizations, fabrication plant of 4,000 square meters and warehouse of 1,500 square meters and the proposed 4.5 Ha modern fabrication plant, the company is now gearing to enter the era of industrial globalization.
To cope with the demands of this new industrial era and to face the challenges of stiff business competition brought about by industrial globalization, the company continued to improve its quality products and organizational structure.
