About the Role

We are seeking a Senior SEO Content Editor to take full ownership of the quality and SEO performance of our content in the crypto and financial sectors. You will edit and optimize long-form in-depth articles, landing pages, and news/analysis pieces, working closely with writers and SEO stakeholders to establish editorial standards that boost search rankings, authority, and reader trust.

Your Responsibilities

- Edit and publish SEO-driven content—with the highest standards of clarity, accuracy, and usefulness—covering crypto assets, financial markets, fintech, investments, and related topics.

- Optimize content for search, including on-page SEO, internal linking strategies, snippet targeting, content updates, and topic cluster development.

- Ensure all content adheres to E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) principles, emphasizing reliable sourcing, factual accuracy, clear author intent, and a reader-first structure.

- Write or rewrite content as needed, including introductions, body paragraphs, headlines, meta titles/descriptions, and formats compatible with structured data.

- Develop and maintain an editorial/SEO playbook, comprising a style guide, content outlines, templates, internal linking rules, and update procedures.

- Collaborate with SEO, growth, product, and design teams to enhance content performance metrics such as click-through rate, rankings, engagement, and conversions.

- Review and refine content briefs and keyword plans; identify content gaps and propose new topic ideas based on search intent and competitor analysis.

- Mentor writers and editors by providing actionable feedback to improve content quality and consistency.

- Stay abreast of developments in the crypto and financial industries to ensure all content remains timely, accurate, and responsibly produced.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experience in SEO content editing or writing, with proven responsibility for high-level content quality and performance.

- Direct writing or editing experience in the crypto or financial sectors (required).

- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, including search intent analysis, SERP evaluation, on-page optimization best practices, content architecture, and internal linking strategies.

- Exceptional editorial judgment, including structuring content, maintaining tone and voice consistency, optimizing readability, and rigorous proofreading skills.

- Proficiency in editing materials that include data, charts, market terminology, and financial/crypto concepts.

- Strong research habits and a keen eye for fact-checking.

- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholder requirements effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a newsroom, financial publishing house, crypto exchange or media outlet, or fintech product content team.

- Familiarity with technical SEO factors that affect content, such as indexing rules, canonicalization, structured data markup, and Core Web Vitals considerations.

- Hands-on experience with content update initiatives and topical authority strategies.

- Basic data analysis skills, including proficiency with tools like GA4 and Search Console, and an A/B testing mindset for headlines and CTR optimization.

- Understanding of compliance-sensitive content requirements, including risk disclosures, “non-financial advice” statements, and treatment of regulated topics.
