Job Responsibilities

1. Provide full‐cycle legal support for the daily operations, credit, asset management, and cross‐border financing of banks, family offices, or licensed lending institutions;

2. Independently or by leading external counsel handle various litigation, arbitration (including HKIAC, ICC, SIAC, etc.) and enforcement matters, and develop and implement litigation strategies;

3. Liaise with and maintain relationships with local enforcement agencies (public security, prosecution, courts, regulators), law firms, and arbitration institutions to drive efficient case resolution;

4. Identify business compliance risks, establish anti-money laundering, anti-fraud, and crisis response mechanisms, and prepare legal compliance reports;

5. Participate in major investment and financing transactions, debt restructurings, and distressed asset recovery projects; design transaction structures, draft/review contracts, and lead negotiations.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law; passing the Mainland or Hong Kong bar exam or holding a common‐law jurisdiction license is preferred;

2. Minimum three years of banking/financial institution or major law firm experience in banking finance or litigation and arbitration; local Hong Kong banking legal or arbitration experience is a plus;

3. Solid hands-on experience in arbitration, litigation, and enforcement, with the ability to independently manage complex cross‐border disputes;

4. Familiarity with Hong Kong laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements, and established communication channels with Hong Kong enforcement, judicial, or arbitration bodies;

5. Fluent in Mandarin and English, able to draft documents and negotiate bilingually; strong resilience, communication, and resource‐integration skills; willing to undertake short-term domestic or international travel.
