Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Project Engineer to plan, coordinate, and supervise construction and real estate development projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards. Candidates must possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive effectively for site inspections and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction and property development projects from inception to completion

Oversee site activities, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure quality execution and timely delivery

Prepare, review, and monitor project schedules, budgets, BOQs, and technical drawings

Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical and operational issues promptly

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies

Monitor project progress and provide detailed reports to management

Manage project resources, materials, equipment, and timelines efficiently

Liaise with architects, consultants, vendors, and relevant stakeholders on project execution

Ensure accurate project documentation, reporting, and handover procedures

Drive to project sites and locations for inspections, supervision, and coordination when required

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or related field

5–10 years proven experience in construction/project engineering, preferably within the real estate sector

Strong knowledge of construction methods, site management, materials, and project execution

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and structural details

Good understanding of safety regulations, compliance standards, and quality control processes

Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities

Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive confidently

Proximity to Ikeja or its environs is an added advantage
