Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles using appropriate tools

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake checks, and tire services

• Repair or replace faulty vehicle parts including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems

• Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards

• Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately

• Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functionality

• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services carried out

• Advise customers or management on vehicle condition and necessary repairs

• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of workshop tools and equipment

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies


Job Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE, OND, or Trade Test Certification in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering

• 2–5 years proven experience as an Automobile Technician/Mechanic

• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, suspension)

• Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and professionalism
