1. Brand Leadership:

• Partner with the Customer Marketing Manager to develop and implement robust trade and brand strategies that align with Ajinomoto’s vision of improving lives through better food choices.

• Ensure new product launches and core brand messages reflect cluster and regional objectives, catering to both consumer preferences and market trends.


2. Customer Engagement and Brand Representation:

• Lead the development and presentation of brand strategies to key customers, fostering strong partnerships through impactful product launches and marketing initiatives.

• Represent Ajinomoto during major customer meetings, such as "Ajinomoto Brand Days," to secure alignment on strategy and execution, conducted at least twice annually.


3. Business Planning and Pricing:

• Provide strategic direction in the annual business planning process for key partners.

• Collaborate with Sales to develop and execute pricing and promotional strategies that align with Ajinomoto’s value proposition and competitive positioning.


4. E-Commerce Development:

• Contribute to the development of a robust e-commerce strategy, focusing on digital-first initiatives to enhance Ajinomoto’s online presence and sales.

• Work closely with digital marketing teams to ensure seamless brand representation across all e commerce platforms.


5. Special Projects and Packs:

• Oversee special pack initiatives, such as promotional bundles or exclusive offerings, ensuring alignment with Ajinomoto’s brand guidelines and business goals.


6. Retail Excellence:

• Drive in-store excellence by coordinating with Category Management, Shopper Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure optimal product distribution and compelling point-of-sale displays.


7. Promotional Development:

• Collaborate with the Customer Marketing Manager and Finance teams to design, execute, and evaluate promotional activities that reinforce Ajinomoto’s brand equity and adhere to promotional guidelines.


8. Performance Tracking:

• Monitor key performance indicators for the category, including product distribution, competitive activities, and inventory levels.

• Provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement based on market trends and data analysis.


9. Budget Management:

Manage and optimise the local brand marketing budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources for maximum return on investment (ROI).


10. Media Management:

Oversee the local media plan in collaboration with the Regional team, refining strategies and making adjustments based on campaign performance and market feedback. 

Requisito

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, preferably in the FMCG or food industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Experience in e-commerce and digital marketing initiatives.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Budget management experience and a strong focus on ROI-driven strategies.
