Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items are received and are good quality
Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor when stock is low
Disposing of the expired and spoiled food items stored in stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers
Cleaning and ensuring that all the work stations are organized and properly sanitized
Preparing all the meal items to be presentable as instructed by the chef de partie

High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation setting is preferred.
Ability to accurately measure and prepare meal ingredients.
Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques (washing, peeling, chopping, seasoning).
Familiarity with food safety standards, hygiene practices, and proper food storage.
Physical stamina to stand for long hours and perform manual kitchen tasks.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
Good organizational skills for inventory management and maintaining clean workstations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
