The Role

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with experience building enterprise-grade applications. This position is part of our development team and will work on the platform that powers the organization behind a premier nationwide auto-refinance aggregation partner for both consumers and lenders. The successful candidate will play an important role in leading, designing and building exceptional user experiences.

The Responsibilities

  • Constructive and positive participation in all phases of the software development life cycle including design, development, testing, and support.
  • Active engagement with the development team in all our Scrum ceremonies and technical communities of practice.
  • Act as a mentor for other QA engineers.
  • Collaboration and accountability with definition of done on team initiatives.
  • Ability to work on a team and communicate with peers and business.
  • Passion for QA, the business and continued growth in the industry.

The Skills

  • 5+ years of best practices within test automation.
  • Experience defining test cases, test plans, and regression suites.
  • Experience using: Cypress, Selenium, or other similar frameworks.
  • Language Experience with Javascript
  • Experience with end-to-end testing
    • Manual and Automation Testing of Webapps
    • Manual and Automation Testing of APIs.
  • Experience with Gitlab, or other Source Control Tools.
  • Experience with Atlassian products for Day to day tasks. (Jira, Confluence, etc)
  • Knowledge with Databases: MariaDB and Postgres
  • Experience with Postman and other Testing Tools.
Nice To Have

  • Language and Framework Experience with Java, React, Vue, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Docker, Containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Testrail, Qase, or other Test Plan Platforms
  • Experience with Performance Testing Apis
  • Experience with Newman, Mockoon, and other Testing Tools, SOAPUI
