The Opportunity
As our Manager of People Operations, you'll lead our HR function with a strategic focus on creating exceptional employee experiences while driving business results. You'll build systems and programs that empower our remote workforce while establishing M-Power as an employer of choice in the Filipino remote work market.
Strategic HR Leadership (25%)
- Develop and implement forward-thinking HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Design compensation structures that ensure competitiveness in the rapidly evolving remote work market
- Create and enforce HR policies that balance compliance with employee experience
- Report key HR metrics to executive leadership to drive data-informed decisions
- Oversee the implementation of our new systems for HR management
Employee Relations & Performance Management (25%)
- Lead performance evaluation processes and make final judgments
- Oversee disciplinary actions and conduct sensitive investigations
- Manage conflict resolution and address employee concerns
- Monitor legal compliance in HR practices across multiple jurisdictions
- Design structures for managing employee leave time and approvals
Workforce Development (20%)
- Create comprehensive onboarding program for new hires
- Develop and deliver initial company training
- Implement employee retention strategies for our remote workforce
- Design career development pathways that align with organizational needs
- Analyze training needs and coordinate development opportunities
Compensation & Benefits Management (15%)
- Research market rates for remote Filipino workers across various roles
- Track compensation trends in roles affected by AI advancement
- Set competitive salary bands that ensure retention while maintaining profitability
- Develop compensation guidelines for internal use and RaaS clients
- Conduct quarterly compensation reviews to ensure market competitiveness
Team Leadership (15%)
- Directly supervise our Recruitment Specialist and Junior HR Coordinator
- Provide mentorship and professional development to HR team members
- Conduct team performance reviews and set developmental objectives
- Foster collaboration between HR and other departments
- Drive a culture that embodies our Core 4 Values in daily operations
What Makes You a Great Fit
Must-Haves:
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience with at least 2 years in a management role
- Strong knowledge of Filipino remote work management
- Experience with performance management systems and evaluation processes
- Proven track record in designing compensation structures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with HRIS implementation and optimization
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or related field
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with global/remote workforce management
- Knowledge of recruitment processes and talent acquisition strategies
- Familiarity with Airtable, ClickUp, or similar workflow management tools
- Experience in a rapidly scaling organization
- HR certification (PHRP, SHRM-CP, or equivalent)
- Background in online/digital business models

Working Hours:
- PH Graveyard Shift (8hrs/day, Monday-Friday US Timezone)
Compensation:
- $5/hr - $6/hr
- Weekly Payout

- RAM: 8 GB or higher
- Storage: 256 GB SSD or higher with minimum 30% free space.
- Internet Connection: Minimum 75 Mbps download and 75 Mbps upload speed for smooth communication and data handling. 100mbps+ preferred.
- Headset: Noise-canceling headset with a microphone for clear and professional communication.
