Founded on December 24, 1954, D.M. Consunji, Inc. (DMCI) is known today as the “Builder of Landmarks” and one of the leading construction companies in the Philippines. DMCI has pioneered the applications of advanced engineering and construction techniques and with high technological content. The Company carries a tradition of responsiveness and innovation which sets us apart from the competition.
With uncompromising integrity, time-tested and technologically complex structures it has built, DMCI enjoys the patronage of both new and repeat institutional clients, commercial customers and government. Building on its pioneering efforts, DMCI has successfully completed close to 1,000 various projects to date, both local and international.
Since its incorporation more than 60 years ago, DMCI has improved the quality of life and sustained economic growth of the country with a wide variety of civil, transport, industry, public utilities and service sector infrastructure projects. DMCI started from simple chapels and residences, to multi-storey hotels, condominiums, irrigation dams, to kilometer-long concrete bridges, power plants and transmission lines, to industrial plants, theaters, and large commercial complexes. Ensuring quality results while meeting tight schedules on the most challenging projects.
On March 8, 1995, DMCI Holdings, Inc. (DMCI HI) was incorporated. As a holding company it will consolidate all construction businesses, construction component companies and subsidiaries and affiliates. It was listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange on December 18, 1995.
