About Company
J. C. Piñon Construction started on April 30, 1997 as a sole proprietorship. It was granted a Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) license in 1998 under License Category C. From an initial maximum contracting capacity of Php 3,000,000 per project as allowed by its license under Category C, J. C. Piñon Construction’s license has gone through several license category upgrades. It is currently classified under License Category A with a maximum contracting capacity of Php 150,000,000. Among the first projects of J. C. Piñon Construction are the construction and repair of barangay roads, municipal welcome markers, and government buildings. In 2002, J. C. Piñon Construction was certified by the Philippine Ports Authority as a qualified contractor. Since then, J. C. Piñon Construction has focused on port and harbor projects. It has been a major player in the Philippine Nautical Highway System as well as the Port Modernization Program of the government. The firm only handles government projects. Aside from offshore engineering, it is also engaged in the construction of roads and buildings for local government units and government-owned corporations. To further enhance its capability of securing large contracts, the sole proprietorship was converted into a corporation on August 29, 2008 as J. C. Piñon Construction Inc.
