Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) covers a wide range of accounting and reporting, transaction accounting, treasury, and corporate governance services that allow businesses to meet changing market conditions, demands for greater transparency and changing regulatory requirements. Primary Responsibilities

• Identify engagement and client service issues and formulate insights, observations, and recommendations
• Execute tasks directed by the Manager, Senior Manager, and Partner, and explain the client's critical success factors to the engagement team
• Mentor and oversee day-to-day activities of associate team members
• Demonstrate a good understanding of accounting concepts; stay informed of professional standards and firm policies (e.g. guidelines of the EY FAAS Policy Manual), and effectively apply this knowledge to moderately difficult and/or complex client situations

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (e.g. Internal Audit, Management Accounting and Financial Management)
• Holding a Certified Public Accountant license
• Holding other related licenses (i.e., CMA, CIA, CFA), is desired, but not required
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Working experience in relation to any of the following services/solutions: GAAP conversions and implementation of new accounting standards, Drafting and designing accounting policies, and Technical accounting research and advice
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and presentation and technical writing skills
