  • Record Keeping: Enter and maintain financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in journals, ledgers, and other accounting records. 
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank settlements and reconcile various accounts, including accounts payable and receivable. 
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Month-End and Year-End Close: Support the process of closing the books at the end of the month and fiscal year. 
  • Invoice and Payment Processing: Process and manage invoices and payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing. 
  • Audit Assistance: Provide necessary documentation and support to auditors for internal and external audits. 
  • Tax Support: Assist with tax return preparation and ensure timely and accurate filing. 
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Help in the preparation of budgets and performance projections. 
  • Compliance: Ensure financial activities comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations. 
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend solutions for improvement. 
  • Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to existing accounting procedures and systems. 


Required Skills

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software like quickbooks, spreadsheets (like Excel), and general ledger systems. 
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to review financial data, identify discrepancies, and solve problems. 
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to recording, reconciling, and reporting financial information. 
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. 
  • Communication Skills: To collaborate with the finance team and report findings to management.
