Job Description
Description
- Operates a backhoe to dig, load, and move materials such as soil, gravel, or debris.
- Performs excavation tasks for construction, landscaping, or utility projects.
- Ensures equipment is maintained, checked for safety, and operated efficiently.
- Follows project plans and directions to ensure accurate digging and loading.
- Coordinates with site supervisors and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Adheres to safety standards and regulations while operating machinery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating backhoe machinery.
- Strong understanding of construction or excavation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor.
- Valid driver’s license and certifications for operating backhoe equipment (if required).
- Excellent attention to safety and detail.
