The Branch Manager drives sales, manages operations, and ensures service excellence, focusing on team building and compliance.

 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

1.      Achieve Sales Targets:

a.      Oversee sales operations in the store by supervising the sales supervisor and other sales personnel.

b.      Oversee stores social media and digital assets to drive sales.

c.       Ensure sales targets are met across product categories:

  1. Laptops and Computers
  2. Mobile Devices
  3. Printers and Inks
  4. Monitors and Displays
  5. Networking and Cables

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.    Build and Support Teams – Branch managers are in charge of building, and in most times repairing teams for every individual to function at their highest.

  1. Talent Selection - Branch Managers are in charge in the selection and hiring of their sales teams. They are involved in sourcing, resume review, interview and job offer decisions.
  2. Training – Gigahertz has the most comprehensive training program in the industry where sales training are divided into three main parts
  • Soft Skills Training STRIKE
  • Product Training
  • Leadership Training

3. Coaching – To motivate the sales teams, Branch managers are required to develop and maintain a healthy relationship with their personnel through weekly coaching. Furthermore, they must ensure this coach-mentee relationship cascades downstream from branch managers down to every frontliner.

 

2.      Effective communication – Branch managers understand that it doesn’t matter what they say, but what the person they talk to understands. The following are some of the vital points that Branch managers must get across:

a.      Clearly communicate area-wide and branch-specific sales targets, objectives, and company directives

  1. Ensure Branch Managers understand and align with sales objectives and strategies employed to reach these objectives, both for online and offline sales
  2. Provide regular updates to the Area Manager on branch performance, challenges, and achievements
  3. Ensure directives from HO such as changes in policies, price action, new promo execution are implemented and reported with a POE.

 

3.      Store Security, Safekeeping and Administration – Branch managers must ensure that each store’s,

 

a)      Ensure compliance of the branch with Audit directives by adhering to weekly or monthly audit requirements.

b)      Ensure compliance of the branch with IMT and Accounting synching of EBT for inventory and sales report generation

c)      Ensure compliance of the branch with HR mandates including proper payroll inputs, schedule, etc.

d)      Ensure compliance of the branch with Warehouse by ensuring all stock transfers to and from the warehouse with accurate documentation

 

Qualifications:

 

  1. Grit – the job is extremely difficult but creates a high impact. If you are not ready to buckle up and get grease on your elbows, this is not for you.
  2. Conscientiousness – the job includes many moving parts at all times, extreme attention to detail and organization skill is required for success
  3. Curiosity – Everyday, we learn new things on the job. Close-minded people are unable to adapt and eventually fail.
  4. Above average general Mental Average – what we do is not rocket science, but a certain level of intellect is necessary.

 

 

Job conditions:

The Branch Manager ensures smooth operations by reporting to the branch and ensuring compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree holder of any course
  • With at least 2 years of experience in a managerial role
  • Willing to be assigned at our branch in SM Makati
  • Willing to undergo one week of training at our head office in Quiapo, Manila
