Description

As a BDO for GrabFood/ GrabMart, he/she shall have a crucial role in expanding our merchant partner network while maintaining the quality of our existing partners. You will be responsible for managing relationships with our partners, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring our partners' success on our platform.


1. Merchant Acquisition:

  • Identify potential merchant partners in the West Visayas and negotiate them to be onboarded in Grab
  • Conduct market and research to understand trends and competitors
  • Negotiate merchants to onboard them


2. Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing merchant partners.
  • Address MEX concerns and provide solutions to improve their experience with GrabFood/ GrabMart


3. Performance Tracking:

  • Monitor and analyze merchant partners' performance.
  • Identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations.


4. Training:

  • Conduct training sessions for merchant partners to ensure they understand and can effectively use our platform.


5. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, customer service) to ensure a seamless merchant partner experience


6. Reporting:

  • Prepare and present performance reports to management.
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  2. Open to hiring fresh graduates! Experience in sales, business development, or account management will be an advantage
  3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  4. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite
  6. Knowledge of the food and beverage industry in the West Visayas region is a plus
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  8. Willingness to conduct fieldwork in West Visayas
  9. Must be a good communicator
  10. Knowledgeable on the use of basic computer tools and apps
