Description

  • The Business Development Officer (BDO) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and supporting the organization’s growth strategy.
  • The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication and negotiation skills who can drive revenue and contribute to the company’s long-term success.


Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  1. Identify and research potential clients, markets, and partnerships.
  2. Generate leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns, and social media.


Client Engagement:

  1. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  2. Conduct client meetings and presentations to showcase company offerings.


Sales Strategy Execution:

  1. Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies.
  2. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  3. Identify potential business partners and development of SOPs and strategies for business partnership.


Proposal & Negotiation:

  1. Prepare business proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  2. Negotiate terms and close deals with clients.


Market Research:

  1. Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
  2. Provide feedback to internal teams to refine products/services based on market demand.


Reporting:

  1. Maintain records of sales, revenue, and other relevant data using CRM software.
  2. Prepare regular reports on progress, goals, and forecasts for management.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
  2. 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  3. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  4. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
