Description

We are looking for a Buyer who will be responsible for sourcing, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure a competitive product assortment for our Hardware categories. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical and negotiation skills, be detail-oriented, and work well in a fast-paced retail environment.


  • Sourcing & Procurement – Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure the best quality, price, and service.
  • Product Selection & Buying – Analyze market trends and customer preferences to curate the best product mix for the Home & Apparel categories.
  • Supplier Negotiation & Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while negotiating competitive prices, terms, and conditions.
  • Inventory & Stock Management – Work closely with the inventory team to monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
  • Sales & Profitability Analysis – Monitor product performance and make data-driven recommendations for promotions, markdowns, or reorders.
  • Purchase Order Processing – Prepare and manage purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and timely deliveries.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments – Coordinate with merchandising, marketing, and store operations to align buying decisions with business goals.
  • Market Research – Keep up with industry trends, competitor pricing, and emerging customer preferences to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in Buying, preferably in Home categories
  • Proficiency in SAP is an advantage but not required
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Must be a team player with a keen eye for trends and market opportunities
  • Willing to work on-site and able to commute or relocate to Binondo, Manila
