Diagnose vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
Inspect vehicles to identify worn or damaged parts and ensure compliance with safety standards
Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle issues and repair recommendations
Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed
Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques

High school diploma or equivalent; automotive trade school certificate preferred
Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and mechanical systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is a plus but not required
