The Labor Relations Officer will support the HR department in maintaining a compliant, fair, and consistent approach to employee relations. The role focuses on managing employee incidents, disciplinary actions, and ensuring adherence to company policies and labor laws to mitigate risks of complaints or disputes with labor authorities. The Officer will also provide timely responses to employee queries in the absence of active labor cases, ensuring clarity and alignment with company standards.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Employee Relations Management

• Receive, document, and monitor employee incidents, complaints, and grievances.

• Draft and process Notices to Explain (NTEs), Notices of Decision (NODs), and other disciplinary documents.

• Track and manage appeal processes and ensure timely follow-ups.

• Maintain accurate records of all employee relations cases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with labor laws.


2. Policy Compliance & Code of Conduct

• Ensure employees adhere to the company’s Code of Conduct and other HR policies.

• Monitor trends in employee behavior and provide recommendations for preventive measures.

• Support the HR team in revising or reinforcing policies as needed.


3. Risk Mitigation & Reporting

• Identify potential labor risks and escalate appropriately to HR Management.

• Prepare reports on employee relations issues and provide insights for management decision-making.

• Assist in preparing documentation and evidence in the event of labor inspections or complaints.


4. Communication & Employee Support

• Respond to employee queries related to workplace policies and disciplinary matters when no labor cases are active.

• Ensure all communications are professional, consistent, and aligned with HR policies.

• Provide guidance and clarification to employees regarding company expectations and procedures.


5. Other HR Support

• Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure smooth and consistent handling of employee issues.

• Participate in employee engagement and retention initiatives as needed.

• Perform other HR-related duties as assigned
