Job Description

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and completion of projects according to specifications, deadlines, and budgets. This includes acquiring resources, managing teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining effective communication among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Monitor and control project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost estimates.
  • Team Management
  • Lead and supervise project teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Assign responsibilities and monitor team performance.
  • Conduct regular coordination meetings with team members and clients.
  • Budget & Cost Control
  • Prepare cost estimates and project budgets.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure projects are delivered within approved budgets.
  • Review and approve procurement of materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Quality & Safety Compliance
  • Ensure all works meet quality standards and comply with safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
  • Address and resolve any issues or delays promptly.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
  • Provide regular progress reports and updates.
  • Manage expectations and maintain client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Prepare project status reports, change orders, and close-out documentation.
  • Conduct project evaluation and post-project analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in construction or engineering.
  • Proven experience managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools and MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • PMP certification (preferred but not required).
