Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and culturally fluent Content Strategist & Community Curator to support our platform’s growth in Thailand. This hybrid role combines content strategy, community engagement, and content categorization, aiming to both ignite organic engagement and enhance machine learning (ML) recommendations through deeper content understanding.

You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying trends, curating and seeding relevant content, and labeling content based on Thai cultural context. Your contributions will directly improve user experience and support the growth of smaller, underrepresented communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Strategy & Engagement
• Develop and execute a tailored content seeding strategy for Thailand.
• Curate and create authentic, high-quality content (text, images, videos) tailored to Thai audiences.
• Seed content into relevant forums/subcommunities to drive organic engagement.
• Monitor and engage in local conversations to foster meaningful interactions and community growth.
• Stay up to date with trending topics, cultural conversations, and internet culture in Thailand.
• Content Categorization & Labeling
• Analyze and label content and subcommunities based on themes, genre, trends, and audience type.
• Categorize posts and communities to improve the platform’s content discovery and machine learning (ML) capabilities.
• Perform QA on ML outputs and provide feedback or datasets for training.
• Identify insights and common patterns in content performance to inform future strategies.

Qualifications

• Native or fluent Thai speaker with deep cultural knowledge of Thailand
• Strong proficiency in English
• Proven experience crafting content for diverse online communities (text, image, or video)
• Passion for online culture, community dynamics, and social networking platforms
• Experience reviewing, analyzing, or moderating digital content
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data trends and optimize strategies

Bonus Points

• Experience as a successful content creator or community curator on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, or Twitter
• Experience moderating or managing forums or communities on major social networking platforms
• Familiarity with Vietnamese market or other Southeast Asian communities
