Description

  • Develop, implement, and monitor credit policies and procedures tailored to real estate clients and project timelines.
  • Assess and approve credit applications, ensuring thorough due diligence and risk mitigation.
  • Increase the collection effectiveness index (CE).
  • Review and manage aging reports to track outstanding accounts and prioritize collection efforts.
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to resolve billing issues and disputes, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements where necessary.
  • Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
  • Establish KPIs and collection targets, ensuring alignment with business goals and cash flow requirements.
  • Increase the HDMF – PAR Ratio or at best within the 90% benchmark.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Collaborate with legal and sales teams to escalate and resolve delinquent accounts.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management regarding collections performance, risk exposure, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Training and mentoring of staff members in the collections department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in credit and collections, with at least 3 years in the real estate industry.
  • Proven experience in managing large volumes of receivables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of real estate contracts, lease agreements, and billing cycles.
  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Yardi, or similar).
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of local real estate laws and credit regulations is a strong advantage.
  • Professional certification (e.g., Certified Credit Executive – CCE) is a plus.
