The Data Analyst is responsible for troubleshooting data issues between systems, working with imported and exported data, investigating user reports of data corruption, suggesting changes to Operations and Engineering teams to improve the quality of data; troubleshooting internal and external systems to ensure they work as expected, managing customer data and providing reporting and analytics assistance to Operations and Support team members. The ideal candidate should have excellent written communication skills, experience with various data processing tools, and at least one year of experience as an analysts, database administrator, or similar technical roles. Collaboration across departments and teams is very important.

• Experience with writing and working with SQL queries in popular RMDBS systems (such as MS SQL, MySQL, Postgre or Oracle)
• Experience with Excel, CSV files or similar structured data files, and other common files used for data exchange (JSON, XML, etc)
• Experience troubleshooting import and export files; experience with files and handling large data files.
• Some experience or familiarity with scripting tools such as Powershell, BASH, Python, or similar is highly preferred.
• Comfortable working with Software Engineers, Operations staff, and people of all different technical skill levels.
• Excellent written and verbal skills allowing real-time collaboration by video meeting, email or Slack.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem skills; comfort working in ambiguous scenarios and operating without all the information.
