Job Title: Driver Technician

• Job Summary: The Driver Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of staff, products, documents, and materials to various locations. This role also includes performing vehicle maintenance, repairs, and installations according to prescribed service manuals, ensuring the quality and safety of all services provided. The Technician will attend to scheduled installations, repairs, and ocular site visits as needed.

Transportation Duties:

• Safely and securely transport staff, products, documents, and materials to required destinations.
• Ensure the timely arrival of deliveries and pickups, maintaining the highest standards of safety during transit.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to plan efficient routes for the transport of goods.

Vehicle Maintenance and Care:

• Perform routine checks and maintenance on vehicles, including changing motor oil, replacing batteries, and conducting general upkeep to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Regularly inspect vehicle systems, including brakes, lights, tires, and other safety components.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

On-Site Service and Repairs:

• Conduct on-site service and repairs on company products, including installation, troubleshooting, and fixing issues according to service manuals and manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure that all installations are carried out with precision, meeting customer specifications and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the technical team to perform detailed diagnostics and repairs of malfunctioning systems and equipment.

Scheduled Installation and Ocular Site Visits:

• Attend scheduled installation services and ocular site visits, ensuring that all requirements are met and that installations are completed as per the specifications.
• Provide timely updates and feedback to the team and management regarding progress or challenges encountered during installations or repairs.

Customer and Team Interaction:

• Maintain effective communication with team members, clients, and supervisors to ensure the smooth execution of daily tasks.
• Provide professional customer service by addressing client inquiries and providing information on services rendered.
• Foster a positive and cooperative work environment by working collaboratively with colleagues in all departments.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, local traffic regulations, and safety standards while driving and operating company vehicles.
• Follow safety protocols during the handling, transportation, and installation of equipment and materials.
• Complete necessary reports for any accidents, damages, or safety incidents that may occur.

Flexible Work Schedule:

• Willingness to work on a shifting schedule, including weekends or holidays as needed.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities to meet company objectives and customer needs.

Qualifications:

• Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Professional Driver’s License with Restriction Code No. I and II.
• Experience: Previous experience in a technician position or similar role preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute to collaborative efforts.
• Proficient in vehicle maintenance and basic mechanical repairs.
• Knowledge of basic installation and repair procedures for company products.
