Description
- Install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and other components for lighting, heating, and power systems.
- Set up and install electrical panels and service connections.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, including short circuits, faulty wiring, and malfunctioning equipment.
- Perform repairs and replace damaged or outdated electrical systems, components, and wiring.
- Regularly inspect and maintain electrical systems to ensure they are working efficiently and safely.
- Ensure all electrical installations and repairs comply with local building codes and regulations.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and hazards.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Experience with troubleshooting, repairs, and installations.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and equipment.
