Description
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with contractors and engineers on electrical projects.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrician apprenticeship program.
- Experience Level: 3-5 years of relevant experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring, and knowledge of safety standards.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems; troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Working Conditions: Often work in various environments, including indoors and outdoors, sometimes in cramped spaces.
- Qualities and Traits: Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and good communication abilities.
