About The Role (your Why)
The Endpoint Engineering Specialist will assist with the development of desktop Standard Operating Environment (SOE) architectures for outsourced IT service environments for remote supportability.
This will include the development of ongoing support and maintenance processes for standardisation across multiple customers. You will also provide 3rd level support and escalation point for Desktop Support competencies for burning problems, critical environmental issues and Endpoint design faults.

What You'll Do
As the Endpoint Engineering Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:
- Using tools and processes to deliver services to customers in accordance with SLAs
- Proactively manage and maintain customer Endpoint's and supporting infrastructure
- Initiate and drive service and process improvement
- Own personal development, by maintaining certifications relevant to your role
- Engaging collaboratively with internal and external parties
- Proactively contribute to the team and Datacom's success

Requirements
What you'll bring
For this role, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
- Previous Experience in the IT Industry for 5 + Years
- Previous Experience in a similar role 3+ Years
- Knowledge of Hardware and Software Vendors support processes, including product Lifecycles
- Advance End User management skills within a Managed Services environment
- Able to install, configure and support Endpoints, software and printers
- Ability to be proactive and perform preventative maintenance when necessary
- Ability to prioritise tasks and have a strong sense of urgency and drive
- Demonstrate proactive thinking and creativity in driving automation
- Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision or within a team
- Exceptional trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Exposure to the processes of Incident, Problem, Change and Configuration Management
Mandatory Requirements
- Modern and traditional Endpoint management methodologies/ tools - SCCM and Intune
- Virtual Desktop (AVD) experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP)
