Description
- Prepare and monitor company budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Generate timely and accurate financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, etc.)
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and supervise the finance/accounting team
- Ensure BIR compliance and timely filing of tax reports
- Oversee payroll processing, billing, collections, and expense management
- Analyze project costings and recommend ways to optimize profitability
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies
- Assist top management in financial strategy and risk management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred but not required
- At least 5 years of experience in finance/accounting, with 2 years in a managerial role
- Experience in construction, real estate, or project-based industries is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, government contributions, and labor laws
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
