Description
- Provide immediate medical care to patients in emergencies.
- Assess patient conditions and implement basic life support techniques.
- Assist paramedics and EMTs during transport to medical facilities.
- Document patient information and treatments given.
- Maintain emergency equipment and inventory.
- Participate in training and drills to improve emergency response skills.
- Follow protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety and effective care.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Diploma in Emergency Medical Services or related field.
- Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in emergency response.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in medical terminology, basic life support, and first aid.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Provide initial patient assessment, administer first aid, and prepare patients for transport.
- Working Conditions: High-pressure environment, often requiring rapid response and flexibility.
- Qualities and Traits: Must be calm under pressure, compassionate, and possess strong communication skills.
