Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Plantation Manager to lead and oversee the full operations of our plantations located in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur. This role is responsible for development, replanting, extensions, infrastructure, and ensuring alignment with environmental and community standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, forestry expertise, and hands-on experience managing multiple plantation sites.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the development and maintenance of the plantation, including infrastructure, replanting, and extensions.
  • Provide strategic direction for all forestry-related operations, including harvesting and development.
  • Oversee daily plantation activities, including workforce management, equipment use, and asset care.
  • Inspect plantation sites regularly and prepare detailed reports with recommendations.
  • Ensure plantation operations meet environmental policies and best practices.
  • Implement improvements and solutions that align with operational goals and sustainability standards.
  • Engage with Indigenous Peoples (IPs), local communities, and government officials to maintain harmony and support the company’s mission.
  • Monitor safety and compliance in all field operations.
  • Support talent development within the plantation team.
  • Report directly to the Senior Project Development Manager.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned.


Qualifications

  • Education: Degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in forestry-related work, with proven success managing multiple plantations.
  • Certification: Must hold a valid Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certification.
