Job Title: Full Stack Engineer

Location: The Philippines (Remote)

About the Role:

We’re seeking a talented and enthusiastic Full Stack Engineer to join our growing MicoVoice AI team. As a critical member of our development team, you’ll have the opportunity to work across both frontend and backend systems, contributing directly to our product’s evolution and scaling.

In this role, you’ll build and enhance robust, scalable web applications, leveraging modern technologies and agile methodologies. You’ll collaborate closely with DevOps, Product, and Design teams to deliver intuitive, performant, and secure experiences to our customers. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive, scalable web applications across frontend and backend systems.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build intuitive user experiences.
• Implement clean, maintainable code using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend technologies.
• Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Write efficient SQL and design effective database schemas.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps to streamline deployment workflows and ensure smooth, continuous integration.
• Contribute proactively to technical decisions and overall product strategy.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of hands-on full stack development experience.
• Proven experience building and maintaining modern web applications, using frameworks like Node.js, React, Vue, or similar.
• Solid backend programming skills (Node.js, Python, Elixir, Ruby, PHP or equivalent languages/frameworks).
• Proficiency working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar).
• Experience creating clean, responsive UIs using modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap or similar).
• Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally in a distributed, remote environment.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, code quality, testing, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Enthusiastic about learning new tools, technologies, and frameworks.

Bonus Points:

• Familiarity with TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (Next.js, React, Vue).
• Exposure to Python scripting or microservices.
• Knowledge of Elixir/Phoenix or functional programming.
• Experience with telephony or programmable voice APIs.
• Previous experience working closely with DevOps or infrastructure teams.
