Job Description

The HR Officer (HR Generalist) is responsible for providing full-spectrum HR support across various functions, including government compliance, benefits and compensation administration, employee relations, and policy implementation. The role ensures that all HR processes are compliant with Philippine labor laws and company policies while promoting employee engagement and organizational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Government Mandatories & Compliance

  • Handle enrollment, updating, and remittance of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and BIR contributions.
  • Ensure timely submission of government reports and maintain updated compliance records.
  • Stay informed of changes in labor laws and statutory requirements.

2. Benefits and Compensation Administration

  • Administer company benefits, allowances, and incentive programs.
  • Process payroll adjustments, loan deductions, and government benefits claims.
  • Maintain accurate employee records related to compensation and benefits.
  • Assist in reviewing and improving salary structures and benefits policies.

3. Employee Relations and Discipline

  • Prepare and issue Notices to Explain (NTE) and Disciplinary Actions (DA) in accordance with due process.
  • Support investigations and ensure documentation of infractions and resolutions.
  • Advise supervisors and employees on policy interpretation and discipline procedures.
  • Help maintain a positive, compliant, and fair work environment.

4. Policy Implementation and HR Support

  • Assist in creating and updating HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and leave administration.
  • Participate in employee engagement, training, and communication initiatives.
  • Support HR reports, manpower data, and compliance documentation as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related course.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as an HR Officer or Generalist in a manufacturing or service industry setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and Labor Code of the Philippines.
  • Experienced in Compensation & Benefits administration, Disciplinary process handling, and Due Process.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Can work independently and manage multiple priorities.
