THE OPPORTUNITY

Our partner is a renowned Australian company that creates exceptional lifestyle communities and unforgettable holiday experiences! Established in 2006 as a family-owned business, they manage an expanding portfolio of land lease communities, holiday parks, and mixed-use caravan parks. They are now looking for a HR Operations Officer to be part of their team!

As an HR Operations Officer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring efficient HR processes. Your responsibilities include managing employee records, overseeing onboarding and offboarding, supporting recruitment efforts, and handling various HR administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the HR inbox, responding to queries via the ticketing system per company policies and SLAs.
  • Oversee approval processes for new and replacement roles through the HRIS.
  • Post job advertisements and support the recruitment process.
  • Review applications, compile shortlist reports (using ASTRA), and coordinate candidate selection with hiring managers.
  • Conduct phone screenings, schedule interviews, and manage reference checks.
  • Ensure due diligence (photo ID, working rights, police checks) before extending offers.
  • Prepare employment offers, oversee onboarding, and coordinate with departments for a smooth new hire experience.
  • Administer offboarding, ensuring a seamless transition in collaboration with managers and HR Business Partners.
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and document libraries like SharePoint.
  • Support HR process improvements, administrative tasks, and various HR projects.


Skills, Experience & Qualification

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Australian HR administrative or similar role.
  • Experience with HRIS systems is advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Ability to interpret awards, policies, and procedures.
  • High attention to detail and capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and effective time management.
  • Collaborative mindset with a focus on achieving common goals.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS systems, and other HR-related software
