We are currently looking for a Senior HVAC Technician to be placed for one of our clients in the HVAC and Mechanical Services Industry.

Job Description (Key Responsibilities):

• Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain commercial/industrial HVAC systems including chillers, cooling towers, and specialized filtration systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on complex systems to ensure full operational capacity.
• Diagnose and resolve issues on systems without complete manuals or documentation.
• Calibrate sensors and controls in Building Automation and Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems.
• Interpret and work from electrical diagrams, blueprints, and scopes of work (SOW).
• Supervise junior technicians; provide on-the-job training and support.
• Maintain documentation by preparing inspection reports and maintenance logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and US codes for HVAC work.
• Assist other trades as needed for mission-critical maintenance and installation tasks.
• Manage tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory; uphold site cleanliness and orderliness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or any related field.
• At least 10 years' experience with: Chillers, cooling towers, DDC systems, CBRNE filters, CO2 scrubbers, smoke evacuation systems, louvers, and screens. HVAC troubleshooting, installation, and system calibration.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and occupational hazards.
• Working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Fluent in English (oral and written); able to communicate with clients and team members.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to work independently or with a team.

Preferred:

• Experience in international operations and maintenance projects.
• Knowledge of U.S. building codes and standard trade practices.
• Former TITP (Technical Intern Training Program) participants or those with prior trainee experience in Japan.
