Overview

We are presently seeking an IT Hardware/Software Asset Manager who will shape our End User Computer and Infrastructure asset management process along with Global IT Software Asset Management. The position is a highly visible role and a key member of the ISS STOXX Information Technology team. The person in this position will be responsible managing inventory, monitoring usage, create centralize views of asset fleet, monitor usage and ensure proper license allocation, compliance with license agreements, and regulatory changes. A successful candidate will be able to effectively engage across Global IT, Procurement and Financial teams, is well organized, collaborative across teams, works independently and has IAITAM certification or equivalent proven experience.

Responsibilities

Hardware Asset Management:

  • Ensure effective tracking and global distribution of devices across global footprint.
  • Generate regular reports on hardware status and usage.
  • Partner across the business and IT to discuss hardware and software issues
  • Monitor and manage inventory
  • Provide cost analysis on HW recommendations or inquiries on purchase, spend, accruals
  • Help shape recommendations on cost optimization
  • Establish reporting and audit standards
  • Adhere to ITIL HW Asset Mgmt standards

Software Asset Management

  • Establish central repository of Software assets, license inventory and proper allocation
  • Generate regular reports on software asset usage
  • Manage POCs for software
  • Aid in SW request processes to ensure proper allocation and justifications
  • Assign licenses to software users and ensure compliance with software contracts.
  • Adhere to ITIL HW Asset Mgmt standards
  • Compile Configuration Items to assist with CMDB Discovery and compile data sets to augment CI reporting

IT Procurement And Vendor Mgmt

  • Partner with IT Procurement in support of processing Hardware/Software procurement purchases.
  • Maintain vendor relationships and work with finance as needed regarding invoice payments.
  • Assist with contract renewals.

IT Financials

  • Conduct financial analysis across HW/SW initiatives and assisting IT budget planning.

Desired Experience And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years experience in HW/SW asset management and vendor management, in a leadership/manager capacity
  • Seasoned professional who proactively works with business stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate those needs to their team
  • Working knowledge of ITIL required. Foundation certification desired. Must be able to effectively communicate with owners of ITIL Disciplines (HW/SW Asset Management, CMDB, Incident, Problem, Change, Release, and Configuration)
  • Experience in using ServiceNow, Asset Sonar or Lansweeper as asset management tools an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and conceptual skills
  • Positive attitude and experience with motivating a team
  • Able to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility, including flexibility in working hours to support employees and customers across multiple time zones.
  • Expertise in building reports using proprietary reporting tools. Knowledge of SQL, PowerBI, and complete Excel
  • ITIL Certification

Work Location and Schedule

  • Amenable working at Makati City on a permanent non-traditional / midshift schedule (Manila Time, 4PM-1AM)
  • Hybrid working arrangement (3 days’ work onsite per week)
