Description

  • Translate written documents from Japanese to English and vice versa.
  • Ensure accurate and culturally relevant translations.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain consistency across projects.
  • Proofread and edit translations for clarity and coherence.
  • Work on various materials, including technical documents, marketing content, and literature.
  • Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Worked as a medical interpreter at a Japanese-run clinic, facilitating communication between Japanese healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Provided administrative and operational support within the clinic, assisting in day-to-day management tasks.

Requirements

  • Job Title: Japanese Interpreter
  • Educational Qualifications: An Education degree not required.
  • Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in translation.
  • Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Japanese and English, N2 or N1 Japanese Level, and native Japanese speaker.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Translating documents, interpreting conversations, and ensuring accuracy between languages.
  • Working Conditions: Office-based or remote work, flexible hours.
  • Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, excellent communication skills, cultural awareness, and strong work ethic.
