Job description:

Office Flex is a permanent Work From Home and includes Fiber Internet, Backup Internet, UPS, PC/Laptop.


Reports To: Broking Team Leader

Primary Function: The primary function of the Paraboker/Credit Analyst role is to support the onshore Mortgage Broking and Property Investment teams by analysing borrowing capacity and funding positions for both Property Investment and Mortgage Broking clients.


Task and Responsibilities:

  • Review income documentation, eg. payslips, to ascertain client’s income with high accuracy
  • Calculate borrowing capacity, funding positions, and prepare product comparison spreadsheets using Excel and CRM tools
  • Determine assets and liabilities for loan applications accurately
  • Prepare detailed borrowing capacity scenarios for Mortgage Brokers and other onshore stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with onshore stakeholders to workshop different scenarios and lender policies to find solutions
  • Conduct in-depth research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of lender policies and lending regulations
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present complex financial data clearly 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high levels of accuracy


Requirements

Qualification and requirements:

Ideal Candidate (must have requirements):

  • At least 2 years of solid experience as a Parabroker or Credit Analyst in a Mortgage Broking environment (not with a lender or mortgage manager ie. must have exposure to a variety of lending policies and products)
  • Proficient in undertaking servicing assessments, utilising individual bank servicing calculators, or tools such as Quickli
  • Capable of managing a large number of applications
  • Proficient in undertaking policy, pricing, and time-driven loan inquiries
  • Experience liaising with lender BDMs to find suitable product recommendations
  • Pro-active and solutions based, must be able to take initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication
  • Experience in Property Investment lending advantageous, will be working with all client income types eg. PAYG, Self-Employed and Company
  • Proficient with Quickli, Excel and ApplyOnline
  • Must be willing and able to work as part of a team and follow company workflows and processes
