Description

As a Junior Offensive Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying vulnerabilities in systems, networks, and applications through ethical hacking and penetration testing. You will work closely with security teams to strengthen defenses by simulating real-world cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct penetration testing on internal and external systems to uncover security weaknesses.

  • Assist in vulnerability assessments and security audits.

  • Develop and execute attack simulations to test security controls.

  • Research emerging threats and exploit techniques to stay ahead of cyber risks.

  • Support in creating detailed reports on security findings and remediation strategies.

  • Collaborate with security teams to enhance incident response strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Basic knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and ethical hacking concepts.

  • Understanding of networking, system administration, and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Passion for cybersecurity and continuous learning.
