About the Role

• SUPA has partnered with a leading company specializing in AI-driven language solutions, using advanced models to enable human-like conversations and transform enterprise communication.
• For this exciting three-week project, we are seeking motivated individuals fluent in Malaysian Cantonese (written) to join our team as remote audio transcribers!
• Joining forces with a talented team of Cantonese experts, you will optimize AI training data by segmenting and transcribing raw audio clips. The key to your success is to ensure a high standard of excellence in performing such tasks, as quality is critical to enhancing AI models.
• Ultimately, you will enable cutting-edge AI-powered language tools!
• Deliver high-quality transcriptions of audio clips with minimal to no revisions.
• Precisely segment the spoken content in the audio clips into distinct components.
• Identify and label speakers to the different voices appropriately within the audio clips.
• Transcribe all audio content within each segment in their respective language(s).
• Proactively communicate challenges, queries, or concerns with Project Managers to ensure smooth operations.
• Meet key deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency in work output

• Fluent in written Traditional Chinese (Malaysian Cantonese).
• Available up to 2-4 hours per day, or equivalent to 2 audio clips per day.
• Flexible work hours with core hours from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm and weekends when necessary.
• Able to commit to the project timeframe of a minimum of 2 weeks.
• Possess a laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy and reliability.
• Efficient time management skills to meet and exceed deliverables.

Bonus: experienced transcribers, subtitles, freelance writers, data annotation specialists, or customer service representatives, though all Malaysian Cantonese linguists are welcome to apply!
