  • We are seeking an experienced Merchandising Manager to join a prestigious high-end clothing brand in Mandaluyong.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience in the clothing/apparel industry, with a strong background in merchandise planning, product assortment, and inventory management. This role requires a keen eye for fashion trends, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to drive sales through effective merchandising strategies.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute merchandising strategies aligned with the brand’s vision and sales objectives.
  • Oversee product selection, pricing, and inventory management to ensure an optimal mix of high-end apparel.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity to guide product assortment decisions.
  • Collaborate with designers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure timely product development and deliveries.
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to create effective promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and negotiate costs, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor sales performance and inventory turnover, making adjustments to optimize stock levels and profitability.
  • Ensure that visual merchandising and store displays reflect the brand’s high-end positioning.
  • Lead and mentor a team of merchandisers, ensuring effective execution of merchandising plans.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and merchandising effectiveness.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in the clothing/apparel industry, preferably in a high-end or luxury fashion brand.
  • Proven experience as Merchandising Manager.

Other Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer buying behavior, and competitive analysis.
  • Proven experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, retail management systems, and inventory tracking tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and drive data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing a merchandising team is a plus.
