- Screens and evaluates patients referred for therapy
- Sets goals for therapy in coordination with parents and caregivers of the patient
- Formulates individualized therapeutic program consistent with the goals for therapy
- Implements individualized therapeutic program as planned
- Periodically re-evaluates patients
- Documents findings, goals and therapeutic program
- Coordinates with physiatrists and other professionals as needed
- Informs parents and caregivers regarding the condition, management and progress of the patients
- Supervises the maintenance of general safety, orderliness and cleanliness of the division
- Promotes harmonious relations with all hospital personnel
- Participates in the meetings and activities of the hospital
- Attends and participates in the meetings of the division
- Participates in the planning and implementation of research and special projects of the division
- Supervises the daily functions of the staff
- Sets performance targets for each of the staff
- Evaluates the performance of each of the staff based on the performance targets
