Description

1. Legal Research: Conduct research on various legal topics, including case law, statutes, and regulations.
2. Document Preparation: Assist in preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and contracts.
3. Case Management: Maintain organized files, both physical and electronic, and ensure that all case documents are properly stored and easily accessible.
4. Litigation Support: Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing witnesses.
5. Client Communication: Communicate with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders to gather information, provide updates, and answer questions.
6. Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and maintaining databases.

Requirements

1. Education: Paralegal certificate or associate's degree in paralegal studies, or equivalent experience.

2. Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.

3. Skills: Strong research and analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience with legal software and databases.

4. Certifications: Certified Paralegal (CP) or Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) certification is a plus.
