Description
- Direct traffic: Guide drivers to parking spaces and ensure traffic flows smoothly
- Maintain safety: Ensure the safety of pedestrians and vehicles, and report suspicious activity
- Provide directions: Provide clear directions to help people find parking
- Set up parking areas: Set up parking spots for special events, such as coaches and officials
- Ensure compliance: Make sure drivers follow road safety regulations
- Provide safety briefings: Brief team members and other stakeholders on safety
- Create pathways: Create pathways for pedestrians and vehicles away from heavy machinery
- Conduct site patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the parking area
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven work experience as a traffic marshall.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good knowledge of state health and safety regulations.
- Excellent visual awareness.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate using hand signals.
- Good attention to detail.
