Description

Job Summary:

The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of ingredients, packaging materials, and other essential goods for our food concept. This role ensures that all procurement activities align with company standards in terms of quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery to support store and commissary operations.


1. Sourcing & Supplier Management:

  •  Identify and evaluate suppliers for raw materials, packaging, and other supplies.
  •  Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize costs.
  •  Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers while exploring new sourcing opportunities.


2. Purchasing & Order Management:

  •  Process purchase requests and ensure timely procurement of goods.
  •  Monitor order fulfillment and coordinate with suppliers for on-time deliveries.
  •  Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and quality standards.


3. Inventory & Cost Control:

  •  Track stock levels and work closely with warehouse and commissary teams to prevent shortages.
  •  Assist in maintaining an optimal balance between supply availability and cost efficiency.
  •  Recommend cost-saving initiatives while maintaining product quality.


4. Compliance & Documentation:

  • Ensure all procurement activities adhere to food safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
  • Assist in audits and reporting of procurement transactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with procurement systems and inventory management software.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
