Description

  • Collate requisitions from the project site to process purchases of materials and supplies
  • Send a request for quotation to suppliers for a canvass/price quotation.
  • Review and evaluate submitted quotations.
  • Interact/Negotiate with the suppliers for most economic price with the accurate specification of requested items.
  • Work with Project Engineers/Project in-Charge to expedite construction materials/equipment procurement.
  • Prepare and monitor status of purchase orders.
  • Review deliveries against purchase orders.
  • Produce and maintain all essential reports.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans.
  • With experience in an engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.
