Description
- Manage purchasing activities and vendor relationships.
- Analyze market trends and assess supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers.
- Coordinate with internal departments to fulfill procurement needs.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in procurement or a similar role.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficient in sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, cost management, recordkeeping, compliance, budgeting, and planning. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are essential.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Manage procurement processes, negotiate contracts, maintain supplier relationships, ensure compliance with policies, and track expenditures.
- Working Conditions: Primarily office-based with occasional travel required for supplier visits.
- Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and a strong team player with effective interpersonal skills.
