Job Title: Project Manager – Office and Home Furniture Division


As a Project Manager for our Office and Home Furniture Division, you will oversee and manage the entire project lifecycle—from kick-off to turnover. This includes meticulous planning, effective coordination, and ensuring the successful execution of projects within established timelines and budget constraints. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Ensure alignment of project objectives with overall business goals.

2. Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, plans, and progress reports.
  • Generate regular reports for management highlighting project status, potential risks, and proposed solutions.

3. Time, Manpower, and Tool Management

  • Efficiently allocate and manage project resources including time, manpower, and tools.
  • Implement strategies to optimize resource utilization and productivity.

4. Progress Monitoring and Problem Resolution

  • Monitor project progress and track historical data.
  • Proactively identify potential issues and provide practical, feasible solutions.

5. Delegation of Work

  • Delegate tasks effectively based on team members’ strengths and expertise.
  • Foster a collaborative and empowered team environment.

6. Option Development

  • Explore and present alternative options and solutions to challenges.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in decision-making.

7. Cost-Conscious and Detail-Oriented

  • Ensure adherence to budget constraints and cost-effective project execution.
  • Maintain the highest quality standards with attention to detail.

8. Customer Satisfaction and Coordination

  • Engage proactively with customers to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for seamless project flow.

9. Team Interaction

  • Conduct regular team meetings to gather feedback, assign tasks, and address challenges.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.

10. Product Knowledge

  • Maintain strong knowledge of home furniture products and manufacturing processes.
  • Provide guidance and insights to the team based on product expertise.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the home furniture industry (minimum 5 years).
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to create and manage detailed project plans.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
