- Source and order materials, supplies, and equipment based on approved requests.
- Obtain quotes, compare pricing, and negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms.
- Prepare purchase orders and track them from creation to delivery.
- Coordinate delivery schedules with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and flag shortages or delays.
- Resolve delivery issues such as backorders, damaged goods, or incorrect shipments.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and delivery confirmations.
- Communicate regularly with internal departments about order status and expected timelines.
- Support audits and reporting related to procurement activities.
- Identify process improvements in purchasing and delivery workflows.
