Monitor and check stock balances to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Arrange and process stock replenishment orders in a timely manner.
Negotiate with suppliers to secure better pricing, terms, and delivery conditions.
Source and evaluate new suppliers to expand and strengthen the supply base.
Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the purchasing process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Job Requirements
Experience in supplier negotiation and sourcing is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of purchasing procedures and inventory control.
Good negotiation and communication skills when dealing with suppliers.
Ability to analyze stock levels and forecast ordering needs.
Problem-solving skills to handle issues that arise during the purchasing process.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and purchasing/inventory software (if applicable).
Personal Qualities
Responsible and reliable with good time-management.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong ethics and professionalism in dealing with suppliers.
